The Association of Adaptation Studies stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. We wholeheartedly agree that academic associations have a duty to oppose racism which results in inequalities in opportunities, disparities in health, and violence to Black, Indigenous and other People of Colour. We invite all of our members and those interested in our Association to contact us with suggestions as to how we can reinforce our commitment to scholarship that values inclusivity and supports diversity of all kinds.
